St Joseph's Wandal requires information about students and their families in order to provide for the education of our students. All staff members recognize the significance of protecting the information with which they have been provided.
Every student has the right to feel safe and be safe at school. Please be aware that it is against the law for a student to have a knife at school. Please do not include fruit knives or knife tools in lunch boxes, pencil cases or craft kits.
As part of the National SunSmart Programme run by the Australian Cancer Society in conjunction with the Queensland Cancer Fund, St Joseph's has developed and implemented a comprehensive sun protection policy which actively protects students from dangerous overexposure to the sun.
All students must wear their school hat when outdoors. Children are encouraged to apply sunscreen prior to attending school and are required to apply it throughout the day.
NO HAT = NO PLAY. Only schools hats are to be worn.
Please ensure all clothing, etc. are clearly marked.
